I'd say that this is a pretty well balanced photo. It has those basic shapes in there that appeal to the human eye. The way the light comes from just one little corner, instead of from all sides, is makes it look better than if you did it any other way. Also, the way you took it in a forest, as apposed to taking it against the open sky gives it a sense of time, and place. It is a nicely done picture and I rather like it. So does my brother, but he doesn't have a DA account and can't comment.
